Regarding your being burnt with GM's "active air-ride suspension"... can you elaborate ? Was your local GMC or Chevy dealerships not able to make repairs ??

By burnt I was referring to the systems failing on a relatively new vehicle, but old enough where I had the privilege of paying for it.
They failed just after the bumper to bumper warranty ran out.

The dealers had no issues with the repairs, just money.

In cold climates, air suspensions die quick.

I've personally had 3 GM's, 2 Rams and 2 BMW's have air suspension failures (pumps or bags).
I've had enough to not order any more.

We tow an Airstream 27ft with a 2023 Yukon Denali DuraMax with Air Suspension. We also use a ProPride 3P hitch. The Yukon tows well and the ProPride makes for a very stable ride.

I'm looking at a 23 Yukon SLT with the 3.0 and max trailering package. I have a 18' aluminum car trailer that weighs in at 1.5k and I want to be able to load up a project car. Worst case I would hit 6.5K pounds. I have towed this same setup using my 2016 Colorado Diesel and a WDH with no problems. How do you guys think the Yukon would handle?

I pull a 7,000 lb ski boat with no issues, you should be fine. Only thing is it eats def fluid when you are towing.
