Just picked up a 2006 Yuxon XL 2wd. I want to put the Mc. 2/3 drop kit but im concerned that towing my boat would be an issue. Does anyone here have experience or input on this? Thanks.

Not an expert on the subject but there are many folks on this forum who have dropped trucks and tow boats ... but I would guess the weight of the boat would be helpful in determining feasibility.

Helper bags and no problems. You can tow without them but it will sag the rear a little. I tow a 23' Malibu and a 07 Mastercraft Xstar all the time with no problems.

I plan on towing w/ my Belltech 2/4. Trailer and aluminum boat weigh in around 1500lbs. Tongue weight, (just guessing here) around 100lbs, since I can pickup it up relatively easily.

If the factory hitch is so bad, what hitch are you using?

I didn't plan on getting bags since it's a pretty light setup. You guys agree?
