Towing a Tahoe

Recommendations on towing a Tahoe 4wd. on a dolly with a Tahoe ? I was planning to remove the rear drive shaft ,anything else?

No need just keep in neutral and slap on dolly. I've only towed a how on the back of a trailer tho but woukdnt be scared to haul one on my dolly. I haul a lot of cars all the time with my 2dr

it would be best if you can put the TC in neutral, if you don't, the trans output shaft will still turn and without the engine running you will get no oiling in the trans.

But with the drive shaft out only the diff. turns as it would normally,the T/C would not be affected,i was just concerned about using a tow dolly with the front wheels locked on to it and just the rear wheels turning. The trip would be about 500 miles.
