Towing an S10

I have an 06 Z71. I'm looking at purchasing an S10. I'd need to tow it on a trailer, not a dolly from Florida to SC. I'd say the S10 is probably 3750 and the trailer probably is 2000. I think that puts it right on the edge of recommended towing capacity.

Do you guys think it can handle it?

Shouldnt be a problem. My 99 GMC Sierra Z71 5.7L was rated for 6500. Your rating should be on the tag in the drivers side door frame area. A weight distribution hitch will make it behave.

Gotta love those weight distribution hitches and I also like the sway control.
