I got a 2007 Yuk XL Denali last week. I towed by boat to the house today, prob about 4k - 4.3k lbs with trailer.

One word - Wow!! By far the best towing vehicle I've ever owned, and I've tried a lot, also been towing boats for 15 yrs.

Short list:

03 Tahoes, 4.8 and 5.3
08 Nissan Titan with 5.7
Durango with 5.7 Hemi

Yuk pulled great, loved the auto ride engaging to level out suspension. People always say "I didn't even know there was anything back there" In towing reviews. I'm not going to say that, but the Yuk came damn close.

This is good to know. About the only thing on your list that i would say would tow it the same or better would have been the Titan. I had one myself. With the 5.6 mind you...hahahaha. Mine had big tow gearing and was a crew cab and it pulled everything I owned with ease.

Regardless, thanks for the quick review.

I had an 07 Denali (shortie) and totally agree! I towed a super heavy tandem axle trailer (2k+) with 3 full size 4x4 atv's and I was shocked as well!
Congrats on the new truck!

Oops. 5.6, right. The Titan did a great job too, but the autoride and backup camera put the Yuk over the top.

funds being spent on keeping her looking new. I have a professional coming out to fix paint scraps/chips, then next week getting full performance 3M paint shield installed. This will be the third vehicle that I've had done, highly recommend it.

My guy, but there should be a dealer more local to you. Actually, 3M started selling a spray version, but I can see that being messy and not lasting long.
