Staying within sticker limits is important.

thay said there are two things I highly recommend. First make sure you have the 3.73 gear ratio. Especially if you will be going up and down long/ steep grades.

second, put in air bags inside of your coil springs. You don’t have to add an automated compressor, just have the valve stem placed inside of the gas cap flap. I can send you photos of you want.

finally, you could consider a larger cooling system or second fan for the engine. This is very optional but depending on where you tow, how frequently etc..

I spent about two months pulling a 32’ travel trailer with my Tahoe from Oregon to Mexico to North Carolina via the Rockies.

Tahoe’s are very capable. Also, once fully loaded go to a set of scales and have all axels weighed. You will tow much better with proper weight distribution.

That weight is way below max. Why would spend all kinds of money to change anything?

We tow our 2020 Grand Design Imagine XLS 27ft trailer with my RST. It really tows well with the combination of the weight distribution hitch and the auto leveling on the Tahoe. Our trailer is 5400lbs dry and 6800lbs with our gear.
