I recently acquired the 2013 PPV Tahoe . We used a plasma torch to cut the hole in the rear bumper of course after we took the bumper off. The PPV Tahoe I have belonged to Spartanburg Sheriff department. And as far as the wiring it's tucked in and fastened in on the frame just next to where you fasten the bumper in on the driver's side. Hauled successfully with no issues. Below the radio just above the county installed console it has a traction control button. I leave it on even if I'm not pulling a trailer. Not really!
Tahoe PPV has no hitch, the rear bump and cross member do not set up for towing hitch setup.
You need remove rear bump, it is PIA, also you need cut a rectangular opening for hitch receiver.
Currently there is no one makes after-market hitch for 2007-up Tahoe. It is another challenging.
Please post back when you get the job done.
