Just got a 22 Yukon here is the sticker it came with. Conventional TWR says 8200 lbs, but if you go to GM website says 7400 lbs. This is on a 5.3 4x4 with tow package. Something is not adding up. Can someone explain? Thanks

Which GM site lists 7400? 8200 is correct for 5.3 4x4 with max tow.

The Diesel engine is heavier than the gas, which takes away from the trailer weight.
300 lbs heavier? I was beginning to regret not getting 3.0 but now I am kind of glad I got the 5.3. But if I had to do it again still would consider the 3.0…..its a much closer toss up know the tow rating is less. I always thought diesel meant higher tow rating. I am always learning something new.
