ok, no biggie I was just curious I thought they were pretty standard across the board

I remember when I was shopping for take offs, some guys wanted too much because they had the sensors and my research said "who cares, they won't work anyways." I ended up finding a set without them for cheaper. I figured my old ones were 10+ years old, so I bought new ones and had to be sure to get the NBS ones from my discount tire dude when I had them mounted.

Like @HiHoeSilver I bought new ones when I changed to 2015 Silverado take-offs. They do make "universal" sensors that can be flashed to work on just about anything if you have the right programmer. Many tire stores use them since it reduces inventory and increases availablility. From what I read some of them can be reflashed when changing from one type of vehicle to another, but I'm not sure if that would include frequency changes.

My '04 came with the OE aluminum stems but the replacements have rubber stems.

EDIT: really, 14 or 15 years is a lot to ask of them for longevity.
