Last Friday i upgraded my rims from 22s to 26s and my sensors were transferred from the 22s to 26s. Had no issues until Wednesday when i got the check tire pressure in back left tire. So i pulled into Discount tire and had them fill air in all the tires which were only off by 2. That did not remove the "check tire pressure" in the dash. The tech then reset all the sensors after he did that the dash was saying every tire needed to be checked. The tech said he didnt know but that sensors should be changed around every 4-5 yrs. I am taking it back to where i got the rims and tires tomorrow to see what the deal is. I figured if the sensors got messed up on the installation it would start showing faults in the dash within that same day not 6 days later. Does anyone have any thoughts and also do the sensors need to be changed out around the 4-5 yr mark b/c i had never heard of that? Thanks in advance for time and help.

sensors do have a shelf life. 4-5 years I'm not aware of. I'd say closer to 7-8. But its very rare that all 4 would go out like that.

Take it to your dealership, have them program them with the Tech2 scanner and call it a day. Alot of times these guys at DT cant' get them to program correctly.

AZ,

Did you get a fix? I just had new tires installed yesterday on my '09 Denali XL and just got a warning on the dash this evening and the right front sensor isn't reading at all. Something all the time...
