Trailer brake controller?

My 2006 denali xl has that same that same harness as well. Does that mean my truck has a factory brake controller already installed? If so where does that harness plug into and how do I use it? Still learning about this truck lol.

I have a 2009 denali and yes I have the controller on the lower dash though I rarely hit my leg on it. I dont believe the denali comes with an OEM brake controller.

I have an 09 Denali and it has a factory brake controller in it and the 3.42 gears to boot. I saw a few others that had it when I was looking for a Denali. There are options in the DIC to adjust it. I haven't used it yet, really don't have a need for it.

Being that the controller is integrated, you probably can't add one with junk yard parts. Seems to have integrated software.
