Tranny / TC rebuild - need help..

Looking to have my tranny rebuilt soon here, I know its day is numbered..

I have added the 6.0L motor to my truck so I want to beef up the stock tranny. As well as change out the TC. I guess what are your thoughts for a stall on the TC? and suggestions as to where to get one?

What size cam are you going to run???

The 6.0 is stock... Short of exhaust ..

COuld you suggest why ? (I just don't know that much about them and trying to learn) Also what Stall would you suggest - Daily driver but wouldn't mind making the most of the 6.0

Circle D are good guys. You wont have any problems if you go w/ them. Chirs is a good guy. but couldnt tell you much about trans.. lol..

Its a darn good converter on the lower end of the price scale...I personally know of an ext cab silverado running 11's with that same converter...

Id suggest the regular 3000-3200 if your not going to tow anything..How ever they can tighten the speed up as low as 2400 also which would be good for towing...

Im running a 2400-2600 behind my ls1 in my silverado...

I do tow - Not all the time - but often enough. IS there a downfall to having it lock lower?

Lock as when it locks up when driving?? Those settings are set by your tuner...

I guess "Stall" is more what I am looking for, not sure what stall converter I am after.... Maybe some could better explain the whole thing. LOL so the when it locks can be set by my tuner? What speed do they normally lock at?
