I thought of it... but I didn't - and motor is in. I didn't know enough about them before I put the motor in, and I was under a time line to get it in.. so I didn't

A mild cam on a 6.0 tahoe would wake up that beast of a motor. Im probably one of the rare few that is waiting for my motor to crap out so I can swap in a cammed 6.0 when it does. Thanks for the info cause I to will be needing this tranny info. I read before that some mild upgrades and servo on a tranny rebuild would make it more like a 65e which would be stronger than an 80e swapped in so im thinking that would be the route im heading when i do. That circle D is a pretty good fair priced converter as well

My stock tranny is holding up fine now actually... Going on about 40k with the 6.0L motor...

but I know my days are numbered.. but maybe not..
