Head to autozone and pull the codes, we'd be guessing at this point. Let us know what you find.

like they mentioned before, make sure you check for any possible trans codes. If no codes are present, most probable cause could be internal trans wear/damage. But sounds like you might have some sticking or failing shift solenoids. Let us know....!

Well I hope it is not a rebuild. My appointment is for thurs. to have it looked at and every one I talked to after hearing what it was doing said the same thing it is a sensor or selinoid and it is just a matter of finding wich one it is.

just out of curiosity, have you tried to dis-connected the battery, let it sit for a little bit, and re-attach to reset computer?

blue flame- tried the battery deal. no dice Im thinking broken spring or stuck valve.

Jp- I just bought the rig I havent personaly put more than 500 miles on it and the previous owner Im sure put the tranny thru her passes. I know it was blown out at 80k but that was due to a supercharged ls7 slaming it down the track. it was rebuilt with the notion of that motor and then run for another 1100 miles. at that point the motor was swapped to the current one and 1000 miles later I own it. all and all the tranny has around 3000 miles.
