My driveway has a little incline to it. If I park in the driveway forward with the front end of the vehicle slightly higher than the back, there is a small puddle of what looks like transmission fluid on the driveway.

If I back the vehicle in the driveway where the front end is at a slight decline, no puddle or drips.

A while back I replaced the transmission tail housing and trans mount, which seemed pretty straight forward.

Any idea on what would cause this? Is there some seal I messed up when replacing the tail housing?

Id bet the output shaft seal is leaking. Would make sense with the angles. Check u-joints while you are under there, a bad one can take out seals. Assuming everything else is ok with the trans parts you replaced.

Is the shaft seal between the tail housing and the end of transmission? Easily replaceable? The u-joints were replaced same time as tail housing.

When you slide the driveshaft out, it is driven in right into the end of the tailshaft. Some are "booted" have a rubber boot that sticks out a ways to try to keep debris out of the sealing area, and some are non "booted". I'd get th.e booted, part number depends on which tranny you have.
