I was at Autozone yesterday, taking back a grease gun that didn't work. So I asked the guy to look up a transmission filter for me and he asked if it was a short or long pan (maybe shallow or deep).
Their Duralast brand was $15, so I bought one. I have decided to take that back and get an AC Delco instead. I just trust AC more for a critical part inside my trans.
So my question is, how do I tell which pan I have? Dude at Autozone said its a short pan.
