i put the 4l80e in my 95 tahoe, great step up from the 60, after that i upgraded to the 454-80 , just make sure u have the same computer and wires to that trans.

ya it will work...its identical to the 4l60e...just some stronger internals like 5 pinion planetaries front and rear, diff sunshell etc..everything else is identical
