I'm actually in the middle of swapping from bulbs to strip now. I'm mostly just trying to figure how you got the strip to stay stuck on the in even surface.

If I remember correctly, could have used a glue around bends, but for the most part the 3m tape did hold well

Just regular scotch tape? Will it get hot and come off?

The plastic protector hold majority in place when so reassemble the cluster.

@ Chip 18. Here is another photo of the LED strip light placed inside the cluster.

I just might copy this. Debating strips vs individual leds. Strips looks easier...
