Well guys im still rocking out the ole escalade. i do have a couple issues i would like to sort out. The transmission was replaced in 2010. i dont know and that isnt relative. but that was the last time the fluid and filter was changed. Since ive had the truck (4years) ive put about 10k miles on it. i have 2 issues. first one is the truck slams from first to second. i think ive read that is caused by a solenoid. It pretty much does it all the time..
Second issue which is the one that bothers me the most. its when im pulling up from a boat ramp, the rpms raise but the transmission slips really bad. now i have found if i put it in 4l i have zero issues. it doest do it all the time. i have a 1500lb boat and i also tow a 4500lb boat. it does it and doesnt do it with both of them. day to day driving it has zero slipping issues. auto transmissions arnt my strong suit so any advise would be great.
