Transmission Reset

I have a 2016 Yukon XL.
First time this happening in 2 years.
I left the house and the truck felt like I was down shiftin when I came to a stop. Like double breaking. Taking off was weird like a big clunk/jolt.
After an hour of driving like this. I parked for like 20 minutes and everything went back to normal.
Any ideas?

You sure your is 6? The tahoe went to 8 halfway through 2015.

If I bringing it down to manual and I press the + sign it goes to 6.
Maybe I'm wrong

That's how it felt.
I pressed it a couple of times. Just to make sure.
I used the truck today and nothing.
