Transmission swap

Had a guy swap a tranny out of a parts truck into my truck but before he put the good one in i had em replace both a and b solenoids manifold pressure switch new fluid new filter and rear main seal ...my question is does it take the pcm a few to relearn the new parts it was shifting a bit hard after the swap or maybe the fluid hadnt made it all the way down to where it was supposed to ?

I wonder if someone installed a corvette servo on the swapped tranny at some point

Whats the deal with a corvette servo ?

Firms up the shifts for a more positive shift. Sometimes could feels a little harsh. If you don't know you could think something maybe wrong

The valve body may not be original. Or the transmission may have been modified in other ways to increase control pressure.
