How do you know when ya trans bout to go? How often do they go if at all in our hoes?

i dont think its slipping i mean i know u shift gears naturally so it aint gonna shift from 1-3 in da time i mash da gas especially if i aint upgraded nothin and im runnin a 24 inch rim jus wanna know what some of the tell tell signs so i can look out 4

Check the colour and smell of the trans fluid. For a start. Loss of power and clunking noise when you put it in gear.

It's reving the engine higher than you think it should - almost like a manual clutch before it's fully engaged?

Mine decided it just wanted to break the plantery gears in the transmission going down the road one day. Really had no symptoms of going out

just had this happened.
ended up being my whole transmission...... Yea 1800 dollar bill for me...

mine got slower and slower to shift into reverse and i just broke down and had it build up with an extreme torque package before it blew its brains out.

if im cruisin on the highway and floor it it still hesitates for a second before shifting, its not a fckin sports car.
