Transmission whine or ?

Anyone else have this issue? At low speeds the Tahoe will make this whining like noise but it seems to disappear at above 20mph, unless the truck noise covers it!

I put it in neutral to see if it is belts or pulleys, but no noise until transmission is engaged. Some have suggested tran-oil pump is clogged or that is is rear trans bearings?

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

When was the last time you dropped the pan and changed the filter?

I have the same issue. People have told me it is a gasket in the tranny pump that breaks. I've been told that it isn't a major issue right away but in time, your pump will go bad.

It has a pretty loud fan motor above a couple clicks, but it separate from the "whine".
