3 differant shops said I needed a rebuild and it would cost x amount of dollars(
3shops 3prices)1100 with a 1year warranty was the.best option presented and that's the shop doing all the work. I had one shop tell 1500 if I pulled and put.back in. (I lack the.know how to do it) and offered no.warranty the 3rd shop offered 1100 6month warrenty they do all.the work so 1100 for a 1 year is the best choice unless all.these prices are way to.hk ugh and.I'm.getting.bent over royally idfk.at this point lol

unknown at this time.
and how did they diagnose it cause mine had to be torn down to physically show me what was wrong and my overhaul cost me $2500 with all new solenoids and a reman converter as well. my labor section of bill was $1100 of that total and all i did was burn out a clutch pack. no chance you have a broken circuit somewhere?

The beast is not a better choice then the newer Sonnax smart shell. Have you looked at the design of it?? People building new trannys aren't going with the beast now a days, they are using the Sonnax one now unless someone with old info that doesn't know the new stuff is suggesting it. And really, who's building 4L6x for drag racing hahahaha

Mine just started doing the same thing. I had a history code for the 1-2 solenoid about a month ago before I did my tune-up and cleared the codes. Only code I had now was for an O2 sensor. I'm wondering if the solenoid has anything to do with the 3-4 shift also?
