Hey guys, my last post was actually about this, I've tried a few different methods and nothing seems to be working. The piece of trim in the attached photo is coming up, and since then I have put new trim tape down, and used GOOP Automotive glue on top of the tape, and stuck the trim down. And it didn't work. A week ago I tried Loctite outdoor glue... for plastics and what not with the same technique as before, putting the glue on the tape, instead of the bare metal. So the Loctite stuff worked well, until 3 days after when it rained. It just gave up and now it's popping up again.

The trim tape is sticking to the body of my truck, the problem I'm having is getting the trim to stick. So, if anyone has any suggestions on adhesive products, or even if just getting a new piece of trim for the dealer is the best option. Let me know, thanks!

now that it is bent, it is too late to save. try to buy a new piece, then clean it with alcohol. clean the painted surface with laquer thinner then denatured alcohol. Then you can reapply the 3m tape.

I actually got it to bend down a lot, its not fighting me nearly as much. Think I can try and salvage it or should I still go for a new piece?
