trimming auto running boards?

Just put on a 3/2 leveling kit and added 20" rims with 285/55/20 tires.
They rub on the auto running board approx at the mid-point as it sits in the up position.
Any suggestions on how to trim the piece on the running board?

Not sure how to imagine "mid-point" is causing rubbing. I took a grinder with some sand paper pads to smooth mine back to clear.

See if the alignment shop and adjust the caster before you do any trimming on running boards.
