Well when my 2007 Yukon XL 2500 4x4 isn't in the shop, I tow these.
The camper is 51 YOA and ORIGINAL and weighs #2700 empty.
The boat I guess with fuel is #4000 but no pics with it yet. The pictured GMC 2500 Sierra was the best vehicle I ever owned, had it for 24 years but rust took her from me.
Sure loved that 7.4 Vortec!Atta100_6871.JPG2017 Starcraft with my Dad 002.jpgch files

My 2006 Denali XL, officially named “Finn” pulls a lot of tow pig duty these last couple years. My moms 19.5 foot 1997 bayliner capri v hull, that she has owned since somewhere around 2008, actually grew up boating on this one on an annual camping trip to lake naciemiento with family friends before we lived in the mountains, and then we bought it from them. This boat taught me everything I know about boating and trailering. Snapped these photos right before heading out to Laughlin for a boating trip on lake Mojave at the end of June with my mom and the close family friends that I rented a small living space from for the last year and a half. About a 4 hour and couple hundred mile drive from where we live. Never officially weighed her but I think she’s a little under 4,000lbs together with her trailer. My LQ4 pulled it up the grades of the I-40 at 70mph with ease like it wasn’t even there. Lol

I haul this somewhat heavier girl up and down the mountain to and from winter storage for a close family friend. I get to go wakeboarding behind it all summer and our friend pays me to do anything trailer related with it. This boat would be the one that has helped me really perfect my towing and trailer maneuvering skills over the last few years. She rides pretty nicely behind the Nali and between my replaced and functional Z55 rear shocks and the airlift bags I installed in my rear coil springs the boat handles pretty stable. These photos were a couple months ago when I abused here up from Orange County, detailed her and then launched her and put her up in her boat lift in Dorothy’s boat dock at the marina she’s an owner in. Nali runs a tad little slower up some of the mountain grades with this one in tow, but he pulls and never quits.

I also have hauled this flat trailer quite a few times, and loaded to the hilt more WAY than in these photos I snapped real quick this past Friday. lol. Borrowed it from the family friends whom I’ve just finished renting a small living space from, to haul a new to me couch for my new house. Moved my moms entire house practically with it two years ago.

Pulled my first travel trailer ever in September of last year. For a 4 day camping trip down at San Onofre state beach, right near Camp Pendleton marine corps base, 4 day Surf camp with friends that we know through our professional snow sports industry organization that run the camp every year. Rented this nice 18 foot unit weighing in about 4,000lbs through RVShare.com from its actual owner and it was an amazing experience. Ended up with it after a small c class rental I booked fell through. Fortunately only had to tow it 20 miles each way as the owner lived in San Clemente right on the way to the campground. Nali handled it like a champ. The owner lent me his leveling bars and weight distribution hitch to tow it back and forth which was awesome since I didn’t have that setup. He was quite impressed for not having ever towed a travel trailer that my maneuvering skills were so good haha.
