Even if there isn't' a code a real time scanner might point you in the right direction like sunlit said .. you may see something that is throwing a random piece of data that the computer is acting on ...

i replaced the battery. i checked the terminals and they are secured and clean. i did replace the starter a couple weeks ago. but how can a lose ground on the starter do such a thing? it happened several times today. only when i went over 65 though


Listen to SunlitComet and check the starter wire ground....why ask the question and get a good answer and not check it but TTT the topic again?
Especially if you just put the starter in and it started doing the problem. Would be the first thing i would of checked.
