They'll re-key it I believe. That's how used cars come if I remember correctly

Ya went to the dealer this morning got a new fob reprogrammed and getting the lock cylinder on the door changed. I got to thinking about what Blazed said and I don't want to be locked out if I misplace the fob so I decided to keep it. New cylinder goes in Thursday and ill be good to go.

Ha well my wallet minds but i dont ha jk. The fob and reprogram this morning was a $100, i know i could of done it myself for less but i needed it right away. The door lock cylinder plus all the labor is about $250, i dont really care cuz its something i need. If i want to switch out the ignition cylinder that another $350

I say fug the ignition cylinder at this point they would have to physically break into your car which doesn't seem likely to me.

Yup my thoughts exactly man, they would have to actually break in. I'm thinking about adding the chrome door handles, if I buy them from direct parts will the dealer install them? Or would I have to buy them through the dealer for that
