So I love my 02 esky so much...I want to buy one for my fiance'.

Found one on Craigslist and talked to the guy today. 2002...pewter...loaded with 113,000+ mi.

We talked for a while, he is the second owner and he buys and flips vehicles.

He advises the only thing wrong is the message center is reading that the air ride is not working...he confirms he never hears the compressor.

Anyways...its sitting level, and if I understamd what i have read...the air ride really just adjusts for load...correct?

Second...Ill try to fix it...and figure out what needs repaires, but if I cant... AND it stays level without sinking in the back end...Ill leav it, but Am i right in understanding I can unplug some sensors to make the message board to stop reading that there is a malfunction?

Finally... If I cant figure it out amd I just convert to the springs (which i hear is pretty straight fwd) will the same action (above) keep the messsage board from displaying the problem?

I know many of these have been addressed before...but the more I read..here and other sources...the more confused I got...so I figured it just better to ask you all point blank.

Thankyou in advance for all of ur help...

Basically, yes

remove negative battery cable, unplug front shocks, replace negative battery cable, then clear codes

Finally... If I cant figure it out and I just convert to the springs (which i hear is pretty straight fwd) will the same action (above) keep the message board from displaying the problem?

You already have springs in the rear, the bag is on the shock. What you'll want/need to do is what I said above, but after pulling fuse, replace all 4 shocks with new regular shocks.
