I'm tryna lower my 04 Denali, does anyone have any suggestions? I wanna do a 2/4 inch drop, I'm on 28's and my truck from the rear just sits to high. What's the cheapest/best route on going with this? I have the stock air ride suspension in the rear for towing and I kno if I disconnect the compressor Ill mess up the air shocks, there not cheap so I don't wanna go that route. Any help is greatly appreciated.. Thanks..

Here's a pic of my truck, I'm not liking how its sitting at all. Need to drop it ASAP

moved your thread to the 00-06 section... :Handshake:

Tony (Norcal SS) is going to be your go to guy for anything suspension...

Here's my old 04 Esky

For the front:

3/4 Ton Keys in Front 1" to 3" Lower
Bilstein HD shocks f4-be5-6500-h0
Eibach Sway Bar
McGaughy's 2" Drop Spindles

For the rear:
Airlift Inner Spring Rear Helper Bags
Bilstein HD shocks f4-be5-6501-h0
Belltech 5" Rear Coil Springs
Belltech Rear Shock Extenders
DJM 3/4" Urethane Rear Bump Stops
DJM Free Travel Mod
Eibach Sway Bar

To bypass the factory air suspension, I just disconnected the battery, pulled the RTD (Real Time Dampening) fuse under the hood, and everything works fine.

28's and your worried about price? :lol2:

It depends how you want your ride as to what all you need. How low are you wanting to go, or are you just trying to level it out?

No, it's fine. worked fine the entire time I had it and never had an issue. It basically just shuts off the autoride.

When I had a job everything was ok but I recently got laid off and living off unemployment only pays the bills.. Lol..

I'm tryna lower it maybe 2 inches in the front and 4 in the back..

I just disconnected the battery, took of the fuse started up my truck and no compressor noise but my truck still looks raised..

The cheap way up front will be lowering keys. You can get up to 2 inches buy changing out your keys, or a little bit by just loosening up your current keys.

4" drop springs in the rear. But you'll want more than just springs so it rides decent. Although with the rubber band tires, it's never ride "good"

That's correct. Now you can lower it without getting error lights. It won't do anything to raise/lower your suspension, unless your rear bags leak which will slowly lower your truck.

Now you need to swap out your shocks & springs. Yes, you have to do both. The bags are on your shocks, so new shocks. Then the springs will actually lower the vehicle.

Thanks a lot for the help, I appreciate it.. Ima go on that section and see how much I can get the shocks and lowering springs for.

I've gotten more help here @TYF then on GMFS, most of the guys over there are hating on my truck cuz I have big wheels.. Lol

heres one kit
http://www.tbssowners.com/store/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=86

kit is adjutable in rear and comes with the shock extenders which are needed and autoride shocks.

now if you wanted to do front keys and the rear kit woudl be 350 shipped but 2 inch drop out of keys would not be as good ride as 2 inch with spnildes. Just a heads up.
