Yeah...
Kudos for posting their graphs though... Not to hip on the need to for thermal band aids to cure a limited dial in of the fuel and spark maps...

Problem is it's the computer age. People that don't really understand whats happening and the changes just go and search dyno charts. They want to see who makes the most power and some people base who they do business with off those claims. Not seeing real world conditions or track conditions, etc.. they just see ***-co make this much power or ran xx.xx ET and think that's the be all.

Yep! That's why i am hoping for pre and post curves instead of the typical +a gazillion hp and +6 gazillion tq...
Also them afr numbers...
I will take a nice broad curve over a peak any day!

It's just so weird with no one tuning on rollers and publishing the docs...

99% of the vehicles out there are not highly modified, and as such, are not needing/wanting dyno tunes. All the DI vehicles we have had on the dyno, have a decent amount of mods on them. Most customers have minor bolt ons and use their vehicle as their DD; as such, a street tune is much more suitable to their application. Sadly, many tuners will just throw a vehicle on the rollers and do 2-3 pulls, calling it a day. That will not dial the vehicle in for day to day driving. I won't even get into the inertia vs load bearing dyno issues.

Sent from my fone.
