Turbo like whistle on start up and acceleration

hey guys. The Denali has been making this whistle noise for awhile now. I thought it was due to the cold air intake i installed but not so sure now. It literally sounds like a turbo spooling while give it the gas and instantly goes away when I’m off the throttle. Any ideas if the aluminum tubing of the cai would be causing this? I sure like sound lol just not sure it’s ok

You got hyrdoboost brake system, dont you. I do on my Denali and it does the same thing. Its the Hydroboost making the noise. Im not worried about it until it fails then Ill enjoy the ride home to the garage. Wahoooooo, here we go kids!

any idea why it makes the noise?

I don't know about the hydroboost but why not check for vacuum leaks? Historically, that's a source of whistling.

May be coming from a clogged/clogging catalytic converter. Have you noticed any loss of power?

Never did hear it. Are you saying the noise only happens when you accel while driving or can it be heard while parked and accel?

Park and idle It’s there when first started up in morning and then it comes full on when I accelerate. Doesn’t matter if I’m in gear or parked At first I thought it was just my cai. Now I’m kinda questioning that

Then you should have someone accel in the vehicle and record from outside.
