Turn signal problem

I'm having an issue with turn signals when lights are on but not if lights are off. When parking lights are on my turn signals seem to ground out and both turn signals show on on the dash and on the lights themselves. It's weird but if left signal is on then right signal will show and blink but not at full brightness and vice versa. It all started when I tried changing my horn. Previous owner had wiring screwed up and horn plug was cut up. I only messed with those two wires for the horn. I had a buddy who owns a shop look at them and I've spend a few hours trying to figure them out and we are both stumped.
Any one ever run acrossed this?

You might search for BCM problems (body control module). Sounds like something similar that happened to me http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7860

So did your flasher fix it like stated in your link or did you have to replace bcm? Sorry but confused because you said here about bcm but in that thread you only said about replacing the flasher.

Oops, yes the flasher module fixed mine but I read where it could be the bcm also. I believe I found the flasher module on ebay for around $30 and it was a fairly easy install once I found pictures online somewhere.
