Thanks for the responses guys. I have no 3rd row, so Ive got space to work with, but I don't want something huge, I need that space for storage.

in that case, do 2 10's in a sealed box like max's picture above... small space, good bass for rock and rap

Sweet, thanks. Any suggestions on what 10's and what kind of amp to push it? Im pretty new to the whole audio thing so Im sorry if its a general question. I was looking at the MTX JH600, 600 watts RMS at 2 ohms to start with.

Everyone will have their own opinion on speakers and amps. I'm a BIG JL Audio fan, but others like MTX, Alpine, etc. If you go to a shop and tell them what you like/want, they'll be able to set you up with something.

My 12s are loud as hell, 10s would hit even quicker for metal. These solo classics are the shit I'd also recommend some digital designs, RE audio, JL is good but overpriced :imo:

a ******** ass 1000w sony xplode right now.. since i put my rf 400.1 to run the same setup (different box) in the jag.

Its like a 60$ amp.. $100 for the box and $100 a speaker.. add in a $40 installation kit and BAMMM sounds fo days

I would DEF run a better amp.. but hey.. it was laying around and for $60 it slams
Its loud enough my wife will get out before i turn it up to show it to someone..

And like i said.. guns n roses sweat child o mine... SLAMSSS just as well as Tay Dizm and trick daddy

And i KNOW you dont have a 3rd row.. but the fact that it fits in the tiny ass buttcrack area behind a yukon W/a third row.. means its takes up NO space.

I might do the 3 12s. or 3 10s, since I already have two 10s. I definitely need a better box.

Max's pic looked great, that would be the perfect amount of space. Im actually getting a pretty good deal on 2 12's, so I may do that.
