Welcome from Oregon. I have what I call a hybrid system in my 02 Denali- Pioneer HU with wireless CarPlay, Bose Luxe Amp running the 8 satellite speakers which have all been replaced with aftermarket 2 ohm, and a separate bass mono amp run off the Pioneer sub output with a JL 10” sub in an MTX Thunderform box that keeps it stealthy. It works really good this way, it’s fairly easy to do and I didn’t have to replace all the wiring or hack anything up. The surround sound effect from the Luxe amp is fairly decent too. I believe you have that amp in yours.
i do have lux amp in it. i ran out there today to install my HU...and whoever ripped out the radio prior, ripped one of the wires from outta the amp harness that goes into radio, so i gotta go buy me new harness or try to repair it. might just cut it out of harness and repair it, not sure how imma tackle that yet. gotta make sure i got the right pinning before i do anything.

i was looking at one of the boxes that fit behind 3rd row seat. its angled a bit and fits perfectly behind seats. they dont quite have the volume im looking for. idk if i wanna keep my bulky box that allows my subs to really shine or take lil step down for the sake of cargo space.

Unless you need it, why not just take the 3rd row out? I put mine in the garage, and I have a dual sub box behind my 2nd row

i was thinking about that last night tbh. ill most likely never 3rd row unless i take trip to concert with friends or something. thatll probably the route i go, i spent good money on my box and it really makes my subs shine. i can fit it behind seats currently, but subs have to be pointed upwards and im not fond of that. the box is taller, giving free advertising to anyone looking to steal some subs. so that def not an option imo.

Do you have a cargo cover? Somewhat rare for a Tahoe, but they're out there.
