Just buy a torch and be done with this nonsense..

Heat it up properly and the u-joint just falls out.
after using a vice, C-clamp, hammer. etc and finally using a torch, I will NEVER beat the shit out of my DS yokes again.
It takes all of 5 mins for both ends with a torch.

This. We do these at work every day and heating them is the way to go. The white plastic plugs just ooze out and then the joints beat right out. Actually, its quite an easy job if you know what you're doing or have done it before. You guys should see some of the shit people try doing to get these things out before finally just bringing them to us and parting with that whopping $15 for our time. Lol. You wouldn't believe what we've seen. I guess ******* really is a hell of a drug...:chair:

Wat do they look like when out ? Any clunking when shifting or vibrating when driving at highway speeds?
I noticed today that shifting from park to drive I hear a slight noise but not to park to reverse or reverse to drive and vice versa
