Also, there's a ton of lifted suspension info in the lifted/4x4 section that might help you too :waytogo:

To be fair sarcasm is often times lost in translation when read on a computer screen :Handshake:

Anyhoot, if it was me doing this build I'd lift it as least 3" with 35's on black wheels and a big roof rack on top with a spare up there. Then, of course, a set of four or so lights up there along with a bull bar/push bar on front (also black) with two more lights. Then, of course, tinted windows, exhaust,..... You'll also want to regear but I'm sure you're probably familiar with that.

Burb would know about sarcasm fails. He owns a few. But to be fair, so do I.

Thanks Burb. I am familiar with regear but diesels the regearing is much for optional to the user where as I understand from the little reading I've done with a gas motor it is much more recommended/basically necessary. I need to keep my eyes out for a regearing chart so I can figure it out. Although depending on the wife we will see if any of this happens haha. She is okay with exhaust/intake and comfort items (nav/dvd and stereo system) I read that the airaid jr is the best bang for the buck. What do you think for exhaust? Headers, cat-back, all of the above?

I built my truck with zombies in mind. Brush guard is a definite necessity so you can ram the zombies and not ruin your steering or cooling system. Then a lift and off road tires so you can drive around all the wrecked or abandoned cars on the highway that are going to be blocking the road. Then, I have a CB radio and antenna so I can stay in touch with other zombie survivors. I also have a "black box" in my truck where I keep random things like tools, extra gas, oil, coolant, water bottles, fire extinguisher, etc... Hope this helps the thread get back on topic...Uncle Yates...Uncle 07Burb...
