Wanna fight?
Thanks Burb. I am familiar with regear but diesels the regearing is much for optional to the user where as I understand from the little reading I've done with a gas motor it is much more recommended/basically necessary. I need to keep my eyes out for a regearing chart so I can figure it out. Although depending on the wife we will see if any of this happens haha. She is okay with exhaust/intake and comfort items (nav/dvd and stereo system) I read that the airaid jr is the best bang for the buck. What do you think for exhaust? Headers, cat-back, all of the above?
Yes, regarding the airaid jr kit. As for the exhaust again it depends on what your end goals are and what you're looking to spend. If you're under a tight budget simply do resonator delete and weld in a Magnaflow or flowmaster muffler and call it a day. If you've got some money to play with consider some long tube headers and a nice catback system like a Corsa.
Once those things are done you'll definitely want to get a black bear tune!!
I built my truck with zombies in mind. Brush guard is a definite necessity so you can ram the zombies and not ruin your steering or cooling system. Then a lift and off road tires so you can drive around all the wrecked or abandoned cars on the highway that are going to be blocking the road. Then, I have a CB radio and antenna so I can stay in touch with other zombie survivors. I also have a "black box" in my truck where I keep random things like tools, extra gas, oil, coolant, water bottles, fire extinguisher, etc... Hope this helps the thread get back on topic...Uncle Yates...Uncle 07Burb...
