It's possible that the vehicles want sensors with different frequencies. I've recently seen sensors that work with both frequencies but no part number was shown. The other thing that keeps them from getting programmed to the vehicle is being in close proximity to other vehicles with wheel sensors, whether it is a GM product or not. If you think that's the case, wait a day and move the truck away from other vehicles and try again.Having a very similar issue with TPMS from used wheels of 21 Sierra not being recognized in 21 Yukon...Did you basically say Sierra tires have 315 sensors so you had to put 433 in them for your wife's Yukon?
