I'd be pissed off! I ain't paying the money these things cost for it to rust in a YEAR! If I start seeing bubble 10 years down the road I'm alright with that but not in a year! GM would be hearing from me and very loudly! :D


idk, 15 years in and im still pissed mine needs driver side rockers... haha

So now that all the work has been done to reverse the rust process, what has anyone done to prevent future rust? I saw in JCWhitney a product that adds electrons to the chassis in order to interrupt the electromechanical corrosion process. Here's a link to the first Google hit for 'Electronic Rust Inhibitor')

The similar product on JCWhitney but was about 1/3 the price. (probably because it does not incorporate the sacrificial anodes), but steals from battery power for the excess electrons.
