Unusual sound at start up

Matt- EXACTLY the same issues I have, reprogramming it didn't work. Let me know what you find out, as the tech thought it was in my compressor. The length of cooling time doesn't bother me, it's got a lot of cabin to cool.

I'm supposed to go back today, but I'm going to wait. It only does it when the ac system is cool, as in it's been running long enough to cool the lines. If I just make a short trip, then leave again it's guaranteed to do it.

Oh yes,

So they are setting me up to have the Ac compressor and alternator replaced, they are ordering in the parts and I will have them install in Thursday. So another update within the week. Im just out of town...

Jesus Christ Almighty, seriously? Alternator AND compressor? Are they doing this under basic warranty? That was literally my worst fear.

No Im out of orignal warranty but have an extended one. I knew the alternator was going out just didnt know they would say the compressor. Sure hope it fixes it, cause I feel texas heat coming on strong.

I'm just to the north of you, it's heating up quick here too. Shit. I'm not looking forward to my shops diagnosis now.
