You're dumping the tranny heat into A/C condenser, and radiator. You're trying to out engineer the $10 million dollar GM engineering team. and it ain't going to happen. These guys are thermo heat transfer engineers from Purdue. The 60 degrees (or whatever) extra your pulling out of your tranny fluid is going into your Freon, and Antifreeze. and then you're wondering why your fan is running more often.

Iv rocked this big cooler for three years right now...i have the trans cooler + monster heat exchanger behind it for the blower and iv had it everywhere towing the boat around on hot summer days, never any overheating issues!

Is there a way around this? I have noticed the fan running a bit more than normal but it has been an unseasonably HOT summer.
I don't understand the logic. With the trans temps cooler you should take some of the load off of the radiator (Which in some cases was the only trans cooler) this should make coolant temps lower. Because it's blocking air flow? I suspect this is not as big of a deal as you think.

2 fold:
A) You're blocking much more of the radiator.
B) Now the air flowing across the radiator & condenser is HOTTER.

Slight air flow decrease, yes, enough to make a difference? Probably so small you cant tell or GM wouldnt throw trans coolers in front of their radiators stock....

Hotter? we are talking maybe a few degrees...not enough to impact it...

Next time your E fans are on high while parked, put ur hand behind the behind the fans in front of the engine and tell me how hot that air is blowing towards the engine...dont get ur fingers caught in fan or belt

10 mm if distance from 130°F (i repeat F) cooler is more than enough to drop that temp in less than half...i have a test going on in the back lab right now running at 400°C (i repeat C), 20mm away im down to half of that temperature in enclosed chamber with no airflow...
