I ordered for an 07 Denali XL front using your link on 6/1/2013, not sure if there was a discount at the time, but I didn't see a place to enter a code, so let me know. I didn't see a link for SS brake lines for front, let me know if there is.

Send me the email invoice your received from R1 when you placed the order. The Memorial Day sale ended at midnight on the 31st, so I can't promise the 15% off discount, but I can promise at the very least a 10% discount that I always offer. When you forward the invoice, include also the fact that you have been working with me directly and the fact that you want to add the stainless lines to the order and I will forward that to my rep there. If we can get that to him early enough this morning (like when he comes in) he can more than likely get everything taken care of without issue. My email is [email protected]

This past weekend I installed R1 E-Line Cross Drilled and Slotted Rotors paired with Posi-Quiet Ceramic Brake Pads on my wife's 09 Yukon.

I noticed that after 30 min of city driving the brakes will squeal when pressure is applied. They make zero noise when first driving the vehicle no matter how aggressive she brake's. So I am assuming that it has something to do with the pads or rotors heating up after continued use but I am not sure what to do to fix the problem.

I applied anti-squeal to the pads when I installed them, but there is a good chance I didn't use enough.

Any thoughts?

I wanted to add that Chris at Synthetic/Freedom Motorsports was a fantastic resource in recommending the best rotor and pad combo and I couldn't be happier with how superior the new braking setup is compared to the stock setup.

Did you do the install yourself? If so, did you use the new metal hardware that came with the pads? Did you use new grease on the guide pins in the calipers? Did you follow the seating instructions that came with them? These are most often the cause of squealing with that combo.

Yes install myself.

Yes used new hardware.

No new grease on guide pin calipers. What kind would you recommend.

By seating do you mean, accelerating to 50mph braking to 5mph, breaking again from 45 down to 5..etc?
(also, the pads said they were pre-skorched (spelling?) and did not require the bedding that brakes normally requite but I did it anyway.

Any guide pin grease will work, but you definitely need it, the calipers are probably not closing evenly, thus causing the squealing. It is a small detail, but it is very important. Also, if you did not flush the power steering and brake fluids, that would help a lot as well.

As for the seating procedure, the PosiQuiet pads are prescortched so as to eliminate the need for a lengthy "break in period", but the seating procedure needs to be done to mate /seat the pads to the rotors. Most brake pads need seated AND a break in period.

Seems everyone is getting the Posi-Quiet pads. I went with the Hawks HPS and the premium rotors, is that overkill? I have not installed them yet, waiting to get some free time. Do the hawks come with new hardware as well? I haven't opened them. I am getting new calipers for the front, and I have purchased new seals for the rear calipers, any other recommendations before I start?

The Hawk pads are not "bad" nor are they really overkill. I like the Posiquiet because they are less expensive and offer GREAT performance and longevity. As long as you fully flush the power steering and brake fluids, ensure to use the hardware that comes with the pads (I believe the Hawks come with the hardware, at least they should have) and ensure to properly grease the guide pins and properly torque the guide pins to the specs below,

Torque Specs
Caliper mounting(guide pin) bolts: 80 ft-lbs
Caliper mounting bracket bolts: (1500 models)=129ft.lb
