Yep, but I didn't "seat" them. Didn't know I had to.

Weird, I seated them and they still squeal. I am going to try greasing the guide pins and see if that clears it up.

Overall I can't complain though, they are much better than the crap OEM setup.

Surprisingly the Hawks pads do not come with any hardware, only grease and a sticker. :jawdrop:

Well that must be it. I didn't get a Posi-Quiet OR an R1 sticker.

What did you apply the grease too? Guide pins, the pad itself or both?

I haven't had a chance to install them yet. I will grease the pins and the back of the pad. I ordered new AC Delco hardware front and back from Amazon. I am trying to have everything setting there waiting when I start the project.

I was surprised that R1 rotors didn't have a sticker since they are really trying to promote.

For the record. I greased back of the pads where they contact the caliper, and cleaned and lightly greased the pins. Used new hardware that the pads came with.

No squeaking here.

They aren't as cool looking as I had hoped but they perform well. They seem like quality parts. I just wish I could see them better through my wheels!
