Actually the price quoted was for the rotors and pads. I do not recommend purchasing calipers from R1Concepts because theirs are regular OEM replacements that have a core charge. When shipping the cores back etc, you can obtain the same calipers for a LOT less at your local parts store.

The parts quoted last night were the Premium double cross drilled and slotted rotors with the military grade E coating for corrosion protection along with the Posi Quiet ceramic pads for all four corners of his Tahoe...

My bad buddie.

You're right. I can get the stainless lines for $150, but not from R1, they are from Russell

Also, the price quoted for the pads and rotors was $480 before I deduct the 10% forum member discount. so with the stainless lines included you would be right around $600 shipped for pads, rotors and lines.

Power steering fluid (2-3 quarts for a full flush), brake fluid (about (1-1.5 quarts for full flush) and guide pin caliper grease. New caliper hardware comes with the pads. I recommend flushing the power steering and brake fluid during installation and making sure that the calipers are properly serviced at the same time. All that really takes (as long as they are not bad off enough to be completely locked up) is to replace the hardware, rubber bushings for the guide pins and greasing the guide pins.

Performing these basic maintenance items during installation of any new pads and rotors will ensure that you receive the absolute best performance and longevity from the new parts.

Anyone who wants more information about anything having to do with the set up that we have been discussing can either post here, pm me or email me directly and I will be glad to help.

What would a good price be for getting this installed? My mechanic said around $325-350ish. Is that legit or should i really do this myself
