upper corner light mod

i got the sockets from junk yard to do on mine and got sockets out of stock corners just unsure yet if i should do it? i think it would look good but idk with the clears you would see the hole i drilled and with ehadlights on you probably couldnt tell they were lit. but i like to drive around with parking lights and my fogs on a lot when its getting dark so i may look good. plan to get the tow mirrors too with the leds and wire them to be signal and parking if i can figure that out. kinda going to a hd beefy look. if i get a better rear bumper may put the 3 lights in middle above the licnse plate too idk about that yet. dont want to go overboard. what do yal think?

with s10 fog lights lil smaller but they have a nice patter but i want to do hids in them i think not bright enough but look cool lol

one i found a while a go that made me want to do it.


good idea or not? dont want to go overboard but like making my differnt.

Not a bad ideal but perhaps running lights down the sides our your truck might be more appealing.

so a no go? i have them and was going to do it today to give me something to do but i may work more on cleaning under my hood and see if i can get the 4 high to work

Go for it. I just thought you would want some on the actual sides since you are pretty much loaded up front.

I've been wanting to make a set of upper lighted ones as well. thinking about hitting up the yards this weekend and will have to look for a set of stockers.

how are you planning on doing it? drilling holes and stuffing the lights in it?

I think that would look kind of sick, go for it. The tow mirrors would really set it off!

I hacked up the grille shell to fit lowers in the uppers. Was a pain ... probably not worth the hassle to do again but.... does look cool.
