That is what I was wondering, if the existing connector from the harness would work with it.
Also, I looked for the "plug" with the two USB ports, but didn't see any of those. (do you know of a part number for that?)

Ron
I just did a more broader search I guess there isn't a oem one with 2 usb ports, maybe I just saw the aftermarket ones that do have 2 ports
you could optionally add one of these, you would just need to tap into the wires behind the plug and maybe have to modify the hole if it does not fit exact, luckily it's just plastic so a small file usually works great.

what year? the one I found on ebay is for 2010-2014, so if your is older you may have to change the harness connector as well, that wouldn't be difficult at all, it's just finding one is the tricky part

mine is a 2013 Tahoe SSV

I saw those too, but I'd rather go OEM. Besides, it's for "passengers" only anyway, since I put a wireless phone charger under the center console tray 'lid'

I'll try that OEM one and see how that goes.

thanks!,

that's weird I haven't ever looked at the connector for mine on the dash, the one in the rear of the center console and the one all the way in the very back match the one online, maybe there is a different part number to change the front? at any rate worst case scenario is solder in a couple wires and connectors and your good to go

Here is a pic of that USB port, showing the connector. I don't think it is just a charger,

Ron

PS: If anything it might just be like a USB cable, one type connector on one end and other connector on the other.

I think I can make that work, I am going to try it with this thing I found on eBay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/2007-2013-Silverado-Escalade-Dual-Power-Receptacle-Cigarette-Lighter-USB-Bezel/381724395568?hash=item58e08c0830:g:K~IAAOSwyLlXog09

I'll just get a car charger, like I did for the wireless charger, and stick that behind it, without having to splice the harness,
