What really matters is the 5v going to your USB devices.

yup, true, the higher amp/draw let's fast chargers work with it too though.

Yes just simple plug and play... 12 volt hot and ground... I believe the output is 2.1... I'd have to double check...

I bought the whole trim panel comes with a USB socket and a regular outlet, on ebay.


I am looking for a antenna shark fin in the same finish as a luggage rack though. The white ones turn yellow up here, which looks weird.
