Just ordered 11" 250/350 progressive rates. I'm hoping it will put me to a 7"ish drop but I have the helper bags to dial it in perfectly. I'm guessing I will have to notch the frame slightly but I ain't scared to cut shit. Oh I found some dope bilsteins that are 19" extended for rears as well as fronts that are 1" shorter than my current shocks and include a bumpstop as the shock compresses. I wanna be the lowest awd static drop that rides close to stock.

the djm 4 inch drop springs for the trailblazer are like 10 inches long you would need to get new shocks but you should try it out see if you like the ride better then again notch will be needed.

You ever done a notch on a yukon? How much you think something like this would cost?

Max, post up when you get it dialed in. I am ready to pull the trigger on this but I just don't have the luxury of doing the legwork to see what the best set up is. I am rockin' the 2WD tahoe but but I should be able to use the same setup as you. I got some guys that can do the notch for a real decent price.......so.....keep me posted!

Small notch is easy I'm just removing 1/2" of the frame and boxing it in underneath and bracing the sides. I don't wanna cut floor unless it's to lay frame. I'd imagine most shops would charge $250-$500 depending on what you need done, lucky for me all it costs are bloody knuckles and a sunburn from welding.

Are you running stock uppper control arms or the dims? With that much of a drop, are you still able to get within alignment specs?

Stock control arms front and back, no pinion angle issues but I have a degree out of negative camber I'm resolving with uca cams.

Yea a c notch just makes the frame half as thick in that one spot where your axle would hit.. if a shop trys to charge you more than $250 installed... go somewhere else..
